A friend of mine suggested to make designs inspired on Rotterdam. The first thing that popped into my mind was the river running through Rotterdam and the harbour. The second thing that popped into my mind were boats on the water.
Every five years an event is held: Sail! Big old sail ships sail into the harbour and they’re accompanied by lots of little sailboats.
There’s only one small detail: this event is not held in Rotterdam, but in Amsterdam.

This design is not a completely written sock. It contains the charts for the water and the big and small sailboats.
It’s a toe-up sock and you have to add your own favorite toe, heel and cuff. And you have to decided if you want a lot of boats on your sock or just a few and where they will sail.
