My sailboat garland was a gift for my Dad. Hence, it is one of the only items I have crocheted that does not include pink! It works up really quick. To make it, you simply need a 3.5 mm hook and some DK weight yarn. I used Patons Grace cotton yarn, but any DK weight yarn from your stash will work! Crochet as many sailboats as you would like to ensure that the garland is the desired length. The sailboats are strung on the cream yarn. Before stringing them, make sure to iron them.
