The poncho has a fun-to-knit construction: Center Panels for Front and Back, with Lace “Sailboats” and Seed Stitch accents, are knitted first and joined at the shoulders.

Then stitches are picked up along the sides of the Center Panel and knitted towards the wrist, with the curved lower edge shaped at the same time.
