Sailor Blues Shawl
This pretty little shawl will keep your arms warm in that summer AC while dolling up your outfit! It’s super-simple all over pattern gives it a textured but dense fabric that makes it just warm enough for spring and fall, and perfect for summer nights. Not only that, you’ll have the easy repeats figured out in no time, making it a perfect travel project.
This shawl requires around 800 m of the main colour and 400 m of the contrasting colour- you should have a bit left over, so don’t be afraid to try it if you have a little less yarn! It’s easy to leave out a stripe or two at the end of the pattern.
Work it in dark navy and bright white for a vivid pop, or stick with pale blue and cream for a delicate piece. Try it with an all-over variegated or stripe it with that fun tonal you’ve been dying to try. This simple stitch pattern can show off your yarn, or let a simple yarn show off the pattern!
