The Sailor Scarf is an easy project to upgrade your brioche knitting. A clever buttonhole construction keeps the Half Fidherman’s Rib intact without disturbing the ribbing pattern.
You will learn how to start a triangular shawl and incorporate increases in a very decorative way. You will get familiar with the Italian tubular bind-off. All these techniques mentioned above will be demonstrated in a video tutorial.

Gauge:22 stitches & 58 rows = 4” (10 cm) in Half Fisherman’s Rib on US 3/3.25 mm needle.
Yarn:Cardiff Cashmere (100 % cashmere, 25 g/ 133.5 yd/approx. 122 m). 3.5 balls in color Piombo 518. Alternatively, any sport weight or DK yarn of your choice can be used.**
Needle:US 3/3.25 mm/32” circular needle, crochet hook 3.25 mm.

Der Sailor Scarf ist ein Projekt für alle diejenigen, die sich mal an das Halbpatent wagen möchten. Du lernst hier, wie du ein Dreieckstuch anschlägst und es mit dekorativen Zunahmen verbreiterst. Ein spezielles Knopfloch dient als Verschluss des Tuches, damit musst du es nicht verknoten, sondern kannst es unterschiedlich stylen.
