Sails
A beautiful, lightweight and warm shawl/scarf using a modular construction based on pi. It’s asymmetrical design makes this wrap a little bit quirky, and fun to wear.
Work every piece in a different color because blending in is something for other people to do! Or use one color and play with texture, a combination of Jade Sapphire’s 2-ply Cashmere, and Habu’s A-1 Tsumugi would be amazing in this wrap. Whichever route you choose, you’ll want a soft bit of luxury yarn that you can wear for hours.
Materials:
Small wedges use between 50-65 yards/46-60 meters of yarn.
Large wedge use between 110-130 yards/100-120 meters of yarn.
The medium size uses 4 pairs of wedges: 640-780 yards/584-720 meters.
The large size uses 5 pairs of wedges: 800-975 yards/ 730-900 meters.
