This scarf has three different patterns. Section one is garter stitch, section two is a pique pattern, and the third section is a small honeycomb stitch. An i-cord edging wraps around the whole scarf. The scarf tappers narrow at each end.

After blocking, scarf will measure 75 inches long and 8 inches wide at the middle section.

Gauge: in 2 x 2 inches: 11 sts and 10 rows

• 5.5 mm circular needles
• Tapestry needle
• Scissors
• Blocking mats and pins

Abbreviations:
• St(s): Stitch(es)
• K: Knit
• P: Purl
• K2tog: Knit 2 sts together
• M1: Make one stitch. Insert right needle into the bar between next stitch. Pick up the bar and knit into it.
_: Repeat between these marks
• RCC (right cross cable): Knit the second stitch on the left needle first in front of the first stitch, then knit the first stitch.
• LCC (left cross cable): Knit the second stitch on the left needle first to the back of the first stitch, then knit the first stitch.
• TBL: knit or purl st through the back loop.
