saint-gervais, 1948
I remember a photo of my grandmother skiing in the Alps. On the back of the image, this indication: Saint-Gervais, 1948.
It’s a black and white pic, but my mother remembered her
mother’s mittens had medium blue and faded red patterns.
I turned the mittens into fingerless gloves and modified
the thumb for a modern look, but kept obviously the vintage
colors.
Those fingerless gloves are worked from the top down.
the thumb is a bit impudent and keeps his own pattern to the wrist!
