Saint VIncent’s Beach

A modular and cropped dolman, sporting a very quirky and unique construction. At first, you may feel that you are knittng a beach towel, but then adding in some perpendicular directions, folding, and grafting, the sweater begins to take shape. It is worked top down; the yoke is worked sideways to the stranded band across the wingspan where the remaining sweater is worked down to the hem. It’s a great layering piece over a tank top or summer dress, if you need a snuggly layer of warmth!

Saint Vincent’s Beach is pattern #2 of Landed, Volume 1: The Avalon, Timeless Lace and Stranded Knitting Patterns for the Adventurous Handknitter.
