“w” in first chart row = (k1,O,k1) in a every OTHER stitch for the SQUARE version.
Pinwheel version (k1,O,k1) in the stitch EVERY stitch

you need 16 stitches total for the next chart row on the SQUARE, but you need 24 stitches for the Pinwheel.
