Sakura mochi tiger
A cute and beginner friendly crochet pattern to make your own mochi tiger plushie - resting on a flower rug. You can easily whip up your own batch of mochi tigers to brighten your home and desk, but they also make a wonderful cheer-up gift for family, friends and anyone who loves mochi! They fit perfectly in your palm and are very squishy, which makes them a purrfect stress and worry reliever.
The PDF file is written in US crochet terms and consists of clear instructions and picture tutorials. This pattern leaves a lot of room for customisations to express your own creativity and you can use the materials and tools you are comfortable with.
Feel free to use different colour combinations to create different kinds of mochi’s! You can also easily substitute cotton yarn for any type of yarn you like!
For example: if you want to make a more cuddly plush, try using blanket or velvet yarn and create a soft, squishy and chonky mochi tiger!
For this pattern you do need some basic knowledge about crocheting in the round, the basic stitches, like: increasing, decreasing, ensembling an amigurumi, some experience in embroidery, but overall a lot of enthusiasm and patience!
