Sakura's Bag of Holding
For those unfamiliar with the term, a bag of holding is a magical artifact in a popular fantasy game that is capable of holding objects bigger than it is. The web-like knitting of this mini-market bag allows it to expand to hold far more than it looks like it should, while also being small enough when empty that it can be tucked into a backpack or purse without wasting much space at all.
The bag is also named for a character from the anime ‘Naruto’, who, as a medic, ninja, and all around badass, certainly would appreciate the convenience and style this bag offers.
This pattern is designed to be newbie-friendly, and can be easily resized by a more experienced knitter. Gauge is not important, and while I have recommended a yarn, any worsted or aran cotton would do just fine.
