The Salado Creek Beanie is a nod to one of my favorite picnicking spots in Arkansas.
Nestled in the hills, not far from Batesville, Arkansas. There’s a hidden gem of a place called Salado. It’s sparkling waters give the soundtrack for the most tranquil picnic you’ve ever had. At least that’s how I remember it, it was our go-to spot for Sundays after church.

The ridges made by the addictive front post, back post work are perfect for beginners and seasoned crocheters alike.

The hat is constructed bottom up, in joined rounds. So you can adjust the hat height to be customized for your perfect fit.

In this pattern, you’ll find a written pattern featuring five different sizes, tips, and up-close picture tutorials of certain techniques. It also includes a closed-top version and an opening for messy bun days!
