Salem's Path
Salem’s Path is a generously-sized triangular shawl in a rainbow of twenty-five colors. It’s made using a simple slipped stitch colorwork technique that is easy to memorize and follow.
The rhythmic slip sequence is constant throughout, and the color progression flows through all twenty-five colors and then back again through a portion of the first ones for balanced movement across the piece.
The shawl is designed to be used with an Advent set, but it would also make a lovely memory shawl using remnants. The rhythmic slipped stitch colorwork technique creates a beautiful and intricate pattern, and its methodical nature makes it a relaxing and meditative project to work on.
