SALIX CAPREA SOCKS by Twinset & Purl

Designed for the March 2023 Botanical Yarn Sock Club, Salix caprea, or pussy willow, bears fluffy catkins before the leaves unfurl in spring. The lace pattern I chose made me think of the first delicate leaves signalling the start of the new season.

Sizes: 1 (Adult M, 64 sts)/ 2 (Adult L, 72 sts)
To fit approximately 8-inch (20 cm)/9-inch (22.5 cm) foot circumference.

Yarn: Botanical Yarn Merino Sock (75% SW Merino Wool/25% Nylon) 100g/425m (464yds) in the Salix caprea colour way.

Needles: 2.5 mm / US 1.5 (or size needed to get gauge)

Gauge: 8 sts & 12 rounds = 1 inch / 2.5 cm in stocking stitch
