SALLY
Sally the amigurumi pony is a soft teddy, knit from mainly single crochet in spirals. The different parts are made separately and are then assembled using a tapestry needle.

The original pattern used two strands of Kambgarn, a soft merino wool yarn produced in Iceland. The updated version uses one strand of Peruvian Highland wool. If you use any other yarn, pick a crochet hook that is one size (1 mm) smaller than recommended for that particular yarn. That way the stitches will be tight enough to not show the stuffing.

The pony is easy to individualize by adding for example a blaze while making it, or by stitching on white markings afterwards. Gauge is not important in this project, but a thicker yarn or a larger needle will produce a larger pony. The pony in the photos measures approximately 20x20 cm.

The pattern uses US crochet terms.

The pattern includes detailed instructions and step-by-step photos and should be suitable for a beginner or almost-beginner.

Available in English and in Swedish (both are available for download when you purchase the pattern).
