This firm fit Beanie is worked in a four row cable pattern and the brim is worked in rib. The crown shaping rows are written out for you, to ensure the pattern continues to follow up. With just four rows to the cable pattern, this is a great introduction for anyone new to knitting cables.
To fit head: 52 (54-55-56) cm 20½ (21¼-21¾-22) inches.
Yarn required: 2 balls Cleckheaton County 8ply, 50g balls@96m.
Needles required: A pair of 4.00mm UK 8, US 6 knitting needles.
Wool needle for sewing up.
Also required: Cable needle.

The cable and rib pattern in this beanie matches my lady’s cable and rib jacket, the pattern for which can also be bought on Ravelry.
