Sally Skellington Key Ring
by Heidi Cooper
For those who love Dr Finklestein’s Sally, look no further. This key ring will make heads turn!
Super easy to work up!
What you will need:
- 1.75mm Crochet Hook
- Scissors
- Off-white crochet cotton
- Black crochet cotton
- Crochet cotton as close to a brownish/red colour as you can find.
- Fine red cotton for lips
- Fine black cotton for lashes
- Needle to sew ends in
- Plain key ring with chain
- Small amount of stuffing (I used the stuffing from an old cushion.) You could also get away with rice or small beans if you have worked the stitches tight enough.
- Stitch Marker (Alternatively you could use a bobby pin or a brightly coloured string.)
Very little cotton is used for this project. The finished piece will be smaller than a golf ball. The most difficult, yet creative part is sewing her face on as well as her distinctive scars. Let you imagination run wild with it!
Happy crocheting! :-)
