This design was inspired by the dress that Sally wears in the Nightmare Before Christmas. You can make this colorful patchwork pumpkin easily using basic stitches: chain stitches, slip stitches, and single crochet stitches. The pattern is very thorough and includes lots of pictures to help you along the way. Rest assured, the pattern has also been thoroughly tested by 3 fabulous pattern testers.

You will only need small amounts of each color of yarn, so this is a great project to use your scraps on. If you would like to purchase the yarn, I have recommended Caron Simply Soft for softness, value and a wide range of color choices. You will also need stuffing and a stick, cork or wooden dowel for the stem.

This pattern is worked from corner to corner so it’s a little hard to give an accurate stitch/row count. Rest assured, complete instructions for the gauge can be found in the pattern.
