A ‘Salmon Run’ is an annual migration event during which adult salmon leave the ocean and return up their natal streams to spawn. Salmon are an important food source for locals and much effort is spent catching these delicious fish. The Salmon Run Gansey features motifs of fish, currents, and nets, perfect for bringing luck to your salmon-chasing adventures! Ganseys are traditionally made with a relatively tight-knit gauge which is not only ideal for keeping warm but also gives crisp definition to knit & purl motifs.
