Soft and delicate like a cloud, warm and comforting like a hug, Salna is a pair of cozy mittens. Mittens are worked in wool and mohair held together for extra warmth and gently marled effect, and feature an afterthought thumb and vertical rows of twisted knit stitch with evenly spaced bobbles.
Sample shows the mittens in size 2.

Salna means “frost” in Latvian and the design is inspired by quiet, shimmering, frost covered mornings, when it feels like even air is sparkling with frost.

Pattern has been fully tech edited and test knitted.
