It is finally warm, but you still want to wear your hand knits! Salt Breeze is your go-to, easy-to-wear summer top. With a lacy bottom and lots of ease, Salt Breeze is airy and flowy without being too fussy. You can wear it with jeans, dresses, skirts and shorts!
Salt Breeze is knit in Amano Yarns Awa base. It combines alpaca, wool and cotton so the yarn is light and airy and doesn’t get too hot when you wear it.
This tee is a drop-shoulder top, with a simple lace and cable stitch pattern repeated at the bottom of the pattern. It is designed to be generously oversized.
The cable and lace pattern is both charted and written.
Construction: This tee is knit flat from the top-down starting with the back. Those stitches are placed on hold, then the front will be worked in the same manner as the back. Once these two pieces are the same length, the body is joined together and knit in the round to the lace bottom. The top of the shoulders are then seamed together. Sleeves are picked up and knit in the round to the proper length. The neckband is left raw.
