These socks are very cozy and wonderful as bed or boot socks. The salty waves pattern is great looking on both sides if you want to work it inside out, or just wear them the way you like best. the socks are worked toe up and you can work the leg to the length you like; the length I made them used almost the whole skein, so to make the legs longer, you will need to purchase additional skeins of yarn.

To make the socks longer or wider you will need additional skeins of yarn. This pattern only uses 1 skein; 1 more skein should be enough for a larger size.
To make the socks wider, work more repeats of the chart, or add more stitches on the sides of the chart.
To make the socks longer, work additional chart repeats. Work the chart until the sock is 2” less in length than desired foot length, then work the heel.

In addition to yarn and needles, you will need:

smooth scrap yarn

3.5 mm crochet hook for provisional cast on.

tapestry needle

The yarn you need is simply 1 skein Yarn Bee Color Idyll.

You will need 4 US 2 (2.75 mm) double pointed needles.
