Salusa Secundus is the prison planet of House Corinno. These slippers are meant to look like your ankles are shackled in chains. These “barefoot booties” are knit top down in modular fashion. The chain cuff is knit flat from button band to button holes, then the foot portion of the slipper is picked up from the side of the chain and worked in the round with a strong heel down to either toe socks or a rounded toe. Just note this is worked in an aran or worsted weight yarn that gets gauge and will be thicker between your toes, comparable to flip flops.
