Knitting Pattern for a slightly oversized slipover in brioche stitch with decorative increases along the deep V neck and the deep armholes as well as collar and hems in double knitting in sizes XS | S | M (L | XL | 2XL) 3XL | 4XL | 5XL

Structure:
The slipover is worked in brioche stitch top down in one piece.
First, the back part is worked back and forth in brioche stitch in rows and the armholes are shaped with decorative increases in brioche stitch. Then, stitches for the right and the left shoulder section are picked up along the armpits and both front parts are worked separately with increases to shape the armholes and the V neck. After the front parts are joined, the back and the front part are joined to the round and the slipover is finished in brioche stitch in the round. A double folded knitted hem is finishing off the body. Finally, stitches are picked up along the neckline and the armholes and the double folded knitted edges are attached to the collar and the armholes for a neat finish.
The fit of the slipover is slightly oversized around the bust, but it fits perfectly around the shoulders. The V neck and the armholes are relatively deep, the length is slightly cropped for a cool, modern look of a classic garment – but of course it can be adapted individually if preferred.
