Sam Slipover strikkes oppefra og ned. Først strikkes rygstykket frem og tilbage. Herefter samles masker op til skuldre, der formgives med vendepinde. Når skuldrene er strikket, samles de til forstykket, der også strikkes frem og tilbage. Når forstykket er strikket, samles for- og rygstykke og kroppen strikkes rundt. Til sidst samles masker op til halskant og ærmerib.

Sam Slipover is knitted top-down. First, the back yoke is worked back and forth in stockinette stitch. Then stitches are picked up for the shoulders and shaped using short rows. Once the shoulders are done, they’re joined for the front yoke, which is also worked back and forth in stockinette stitch. After the front yoke is done, the front and back are joined, and the body is worked in the round on circular needles. Finally, stitches are picked up for the neckline and sleeve ribbing.
