This is an original crochet spider pattern. Sam the spider dispenses spider silk (white acrylic yarn), and due to a special elastic feature, you are able to rewind and repull the “silk” as many times as you like.

The spider can hold over 15 feet of white acrylic yarn. However if you use different yarn to crochet the body, it will be smaller and therefore it will hold less “silk”. The same can be applied if you use thinner or bulkier “spider silk” - more or less may fit.

This pattern uses relatively little yarn (less than a skein of Baby Bee from Hobby Lobby). For the photo spider I used the color Cozy Rosy.
