I’ve taken to calling the cables in this pullover the “towers of power” as the width and length of them creates a very robust design. The Samantha Pullover is meant to be something you can toss on to shovel snow, or dress up for a nice dinner. The pullover features faux seams created by continuing the raglan detail down the length of the body. An option for a gusset at the underarm on the sleeve and the body is also provided.

The Samantha Pullover is worked seamlessly from the top down. Stitches are cast on and the neckline shaping is worked flat. Once the neckline shaping is complete, the sweater is joined in the round. Cables are worked on every 14th round after the pattern is established. The detailed size charts are included to provide clarity on the finished measurements of the garment, with the pattern as written.

A more accessible version of the pattern PDF is available. This version features no italicized text, size 22 pt all-black font, no pictures in the body of the pattern, and all text in a single column. A schematic is included in the pattern but it is not needed to complete the garment. There are charts in the pattern, but the accessible version includes text instructions as well. Both versions of the pattern include a sans serif font (Fira Sans).

The pullover is knitted using heavy worsted/light aran weight yarn, or yarn held together to achieve a similar weight (approx. 199 m 217 yd per 100 grams, or 8-9 WPI). If you’d like to hold a mohair with another yarn, the non-mohair yarn should be approx 261 m 285 yd per 100 grams.

The pullover is designed to have 15-20 cm 6-8” of positive ease, but the sizes are listed in final bust circumferences so you can choose as much, or as little, ease as you’d like. The finished bust circumferences are 84 (92, 106, 110), 114, 118, 128 (136, 150, 158), 172 cm 33 (36, 41 ½, 43), 45, 46 ½, 50 ½ (53 ½, 59, 62), 67 ½ inches. Yardages are 830 (907, 1037, 1084), 1120, 1191, 1283 (1382, 1503, 1619), 1689 m 908 (992, 1134, 1185), 1225, 1302, 1403 (1511, 1644, 1771), 1847 yds.

Thank you so much to my wonderful testers who helped me with this pattern!
