Sammal Socks are worked from the cuff down. There is a pattern repeat panel with cables and bobbles running on outer edge of each sock. You need to know how to knit, purl, decrease, pick up and knit stitches and bind off with Kitchener Stitch. Happy knitting!

Medium (Large)
Foot circumference of finished sock is 19.5 (23.5) cm, 7.75 9.25”. Socks are meant to be worn with a small amount of negative ease.

GAUGE
29 sts and 42 rounds = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4”) over Stockinette St using 2.5 mm (US 1.5) needles.
32 sts and 42 rounds = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4”) over pattern using 2.5 mm US 1.5 needles.

NEEDLES
2.5 mm (US 1.5) or size needed to obtain the gauge, cable needle.

MATERIALS
420 m (459 yds) Austermann Step Classic (100g/420m 459yds, 75% wool, 25% nylon) OR Lanitium Ex Machina Basic Sock 2, 100 g/420 m 459yds, 75% wool, 25% nylon.
