Sammensat 8.5 cardigan is the cardigan version of Sammensat 8.
The pattern also includes instructions to work the cardigan as a sweater with henley button placket.

It is worked top down with the possibility to adjust the length of the sleeves and the body. It is worked an all over rib pattern. It can be worked as a one-colored version or use some of your leftover yarn for stripes. There are endless combinations.

Sammensat 8.5 is worked with two qualities of yarn (A+ B) held together.
A 600 (650, 700, 750) (800, 900, 950, 1000) m/656 (710, 766, 820) (875, 984, 1039, 1094) yd cotton 8/4 by Mayflower, fingering weight, 100% cotton, 170m/186yd per 50g/1.76oz.
B same yardage of Silk-Mohair by Isager yarn, lace, 70% mohair, 30% silk, 212m/232yd per 25g/0.88oz.
Note! It is a total yardage for working a one-colored short sleeved version according to measurements. Long sleeves require extra 200-250m/218-273yd.

Yarn alternatives with one thread of yarn e.g.: Vegan Cashmere by Kremke Soul Wool, 95m/104yd per 50g/1.76oz; Amira by Lang yarns 100m/109yd per 50g/1.76oz.
Brown sample is worked with Venezia by Mayflower 105m/114yd per 50g/1.76oz.

Gauge
10cm x 10cm/4” x 4”: 15 sts over 22 rows in Rib Pattern with the yarn/yarns chosen for your version and needle 6.0mm/US 10, or the size needed to obtain gauge after blocking.

6.0mm/US 10 and 5.5mm/US 9 circular needles and double-pointed needles (or circular needles for magic loop)
