Sammy’s little jumper is made out of self-striping yarn so there is no need to change colours! Sammy’s head, jumper, and body are knitted in one piece.

Size: Sammy The Teddy Bear is 23cm or 9 inches tall when sitting. Snowy The Snowman is 16cm or 6.25 inches tall.

Materials needed: 3.25mm or US 3 or UK 10 knitting needles, 2 x 3.25mm or US 3 or UK 10 double pointed knitting needles,1 small cable needle, 35g or 1.25 oz Sirdar Crofter Dk Fair Isle Effect in shade 0065, 40g or 1.4 oz Sirdar Snuggly Snowflake Double Knitting in shade 0642 (light beige), 15g or 0.5 oz Sirdar Snuggly Snowflake Double Knitting in shade 0631 (cream), small amount of Sirdar Snuggly Snowflake Double Knitting in shade 0634 (light brown), small amount of orange double knit yarn, stuffing, black embroidery thread, 12mm blue safety eyes, 6mm black safety eyes, 15mm black safety nose, 2 x 8mm black buttons, cream sewing thread and a needle, beige fabric marker, and colourless fabric marker blender.

Knitting methods used: Cast on using the thumb method, knit or garter stitch, purl, KFB - knit into the front and the back of the stitch (increases by 1 stitch), K2tog - Knit 2 stitches together as 1 (decreases by 1 stitch), cast off, I-cord - Knit a cord using two double pointed needles, C4B - cable 4 stitches holding the cable needle to the back - slip 2 stitches onto a cable needle and hold this cable needle to the back of the work, knit the next 2 stitches as normal, then knit the 2 stitches on the cable needle.
