Sammy the Three Toed Sloth is crocheted in the round, through the back loop using a locking stitch marker to mark the beginning of the round.

Since this is a toy, gauge is not important. Size of the finished animal will depend on the yarn and hook you choose.

I used Vanna’s Choice Acrylic yarn for this project, but you can use any brand/type of worsted/aran weight yarn.

I used approximately 115 yards of brown/16 yards of beige acrylic yarn for this pattern, but that amount can vary based on your yarn choice/gauge.

Additional supplies needed:
-A small amount of black worsted weight yarn
-8mm safety eyes
-Tapestry needle
-Locking stitch marker
-Polyfil for stuffing
