Sampler Log Cabin Blanket
Great stashbuster! Crocheted from the center out, the log cabin design allows you to customize this blanket to the size you want, and learn new stitches at the same time. Ten different crochet stitches, all one-row patterns, are used to create this reversible blanket.
The pink version is the same pattern but with just one color.
Yarn: any worsted #4 weight will do. I used mostly Bernat Premium and Red Heart Comfort, yarns leftover from other afghan projects. I used approximately 2400 yards (2100 m) in total.
Crochet hook: US H/8 (5mm).
Size: my blanket ended up being 54” (137cm) square, and I made 26 blocks.
Skill level: very easy. Someone who already knows the basic stitches can make this blanket.
