The Sampler Scarf is intended to be a fun, beginner project that gets you comfortable with knits, purls, and some light pattern reading. It makes for a great first project that gives you a practical result to wear and show off your new skills! You will learn about the structure of the 6 most common knitting pattern stitches and how they differ. It can be finished off as a scarf, or sewn to create a cowl. We finished ours by sewing it together.
