The Sampler Scarf is a fingering weight scarf worked in stranded colorwork. It’s an excellent project for learning stranded colorwork. Knit as a tube in the round from end to end, with a garter hem, one main color is used throughout as the background color, and eight contrasting colors are used over seven different charted stitch patterns. This is a great piece to use up leftover yarns, either fingering weight or lace weight (such as Mohair Silk Lace) held double. The Sampler Scarf is a blank canvas – create your own work of art!
