Samus Aran Metroid Crochet Doll
It’s Samus Aran, heroine of the Nintendo action game, Metroid, wearing her Varia suit of armor--but in small, squishable, yarn form.
How she came to be: a friend asked me if I could crochet the Samus character in the amigurumi style, and behold, here is my yarn interpretation. If you want the Japanese-inspired “chibi” look for your favorite cannon-toting video game protagonista, this is the one.
Pattern is for beginner-to-intermediate crochet skills. Doll parts are crocheted in spiral rounds. Doll is 6-inch (16 cm) tall.
You will need to know how to:
--read a crochet pattern
--chain
--single crochet
--single crochet decrease or invisible decrease
Materials list and definitions of stitch abbreviations are included. Photo illustrations included, four pages total. Written in English for right-hand crochet.
Pattern is a PDF (printable, read-only file viewable with Adobe Reader or similar document viewer). I am happy to answer questions you may have about the pattern.
You may sell the dolls you make with this pattern if you label the doll with _Jana Whitley at Ravelry.com_ as the designer. Thanks!
