This basic drop sleeve hoodie, while very simple to knit up, will look anything but basic on your little one. The tight gauge and fiber content make it wonderfully durable and warm, so it will hold up to all the antics it’s sure to endure. This sweater just seemed to name itself when it was finished. The floppy hood, the orangey yellow yarn, the general littleness of my son when he fit into it, and how much of a good buddy he already is to me, reminded me of one of my favorite hobbits.
