Samwise is the best friend you could ever want…much like the character he was named after (Samwise Gamgee). Even though he can be intensely stubborn, he is smart and loyal to a fault.

Samwise was created in memory of our pup.

This pattern come with written directions and is worked in continuous rounds.

Materials
• Yarn: I used a medium weight yarn like Red Heart Super Saver or Caron One Pound.
Tan, Brown, Dark Brown
• Crochet Hook: I used a 2.5MM, but use one that pairs well with your tension and yarn choice.
• Scissors
• Poly-fil or another kind of stuffing.
• Tapestry Needle
• Stitch Marker
• Safety Eyes (Optional): Please note that safety eyes are not suitable for children under 3 years of age.

Abbreviations/Stitches
• Rd: Round
• MR: Magic Ring
• SC: Single Crochet
• INC: Increase (2SC in a stitch)
• DEC: Decrease (combining 2 stitches into 1)
• SL ST: Slip Stitch
• FO: Fasten Off
• BLO: Back Loop Only
• FLO: Front Loop Only
• (…): Repeat what is indicated in the parenthesis the indicated number of times.
• : The number of stitches that should be in each round.
