This bag was inspired by the city of San Francisco’s environmentally conscious decision to outlaw the use of plastic bags, which will reduce landfill waste. The pattern is designed for beginners and above.

Material: Approx. 300 yars of heavy worsted weight yarn. Cotton or cotton blends are ideal, as well as hemp and linen.

Gauge: For bottom, 4 sts. per inch; for sides, 2.75 sts. per inch on larger needles.

Needles: 24” circulars, No. 9 for bottom and top, No. 13 for sides.

Notions: Stitch markers in two colors, tapestry needle to weave in ends.
