San Martin Hat
Construction: San Martin is a cozy, lightweight beanie with all-over, staggered cables. San Martin is written for three baby sizes and two adult sizes. The cables have purls in between to create a stretchy ribbing, allowing to fit a variety of head sizes well.
This pattern includes two pdf files, one containing the three baby sizes and one containing the two adult sizes.
Skill level: Intermediate
Skills needed: Knitting in the round, cabling, decreasing stitches
Size: Newborn, (Baby, Toddler, Small Adult, Large Adult)
Circumference: Unstretched: 9”, (11” 13”, 16”, 18”); Stretched: 14”, (17”, 20”, 24”, 27”)
Height: 5 1/2”, (6”, 6 ½”, 8 1/2”, 9”)
Materials:

US 3 and US 5 double pointed needles or other needles to knit a small circumference in the round that meet gauge

80, (100, 120, 175, 220) yards of wool or wool blend yarn. Shown in: Neighborhood Fiber Co. Organic Rustic Fingering (100% wool) 475 yards/ 4 ounce, 1 skein in the Palisades color.
