But you can easily use any other yarn that you like for this pillow. Simply make sure that your crochet hook matches your yarn.
Gauge is not important, though if you crochet very loosely I’d recommend a smaller hook then asked for, just so the stuffing doesn’t show through the fabric of the pillow.

Simple pattern that’s easy to follow due to simple increasing repeats. Due to this it’s easily adjustable in size as well.
