Sand
Sand is a top-down, seamless cardigan with drapey fronts, cropped body and ¾ sleeves.
Upper back part is worked first from shoulders to the top of the sleeve caps, then the stitches of the fronts are picked up from the cast on edges of the back shoulders and fronts are worked to the top of the sleeve caps.
Then the pieces are joined together and the stitches of the sleeve caps are picked up. From this point back, fronts and sleeve caps are worked simultaneously to the underarm.
Body is worked in one piece from the underarm to the hem. The front slopes are shaped with usual increases, the hemline of the fronts is shaped with short rows: the fronts are longer and wider than the back.
Sleeves are worked from the underarm to the cuff in the round.
The wide shawl collar is worked together with the fronts, no finishing is needed.
