Sand and Sky
Are you going on holiday, to knit night, or are you staying home with your favorite series to watch? Do you need a fun and easy project to work on? Sand and Sky is a great choice with its stockinette stripes and repetitive lace stitches.
Unique shape.
Wear it as you would wear any crescent shawl or pin at the front (see pics) for the asymmetrical look.
Easily adjustable size.
Work any number of repeats of the 20-row body pattern.
Work any number of repeats of the 10-row border lace, end with any WS row.
Any Color.
You can use one color, a gradient, two colors, three colors or as many colors as there are stripes on the shawl. This can also be a great project to use your leftover yarn. You can keep C1 in one color and use different leftover yarn instead of just one C2, you can choose as many colors as there are C2 stripes. What about using mohair as C2?
These are just a few ideas, there are so many possibilities!
