The Shawl is worked flat from the top down using 3,5mm (US 4) circular needles (due to width).
The beauty of this pattern is that you can knit Part 1/3/5/7 for as long as you wish which makes it a great pattern for Advent Mini’s or leftovers, as it not only allows you to add rows but also allows you to stop earlier if you don’t have enough yarn left to complete one of these sections.

No1 – regular size: approx. 175cm x 80cm (70” x 32”)
No2 – extra big: approx. 220cm x 100cm (85” x 40”)

MATERIAL:
- fingering weight yarn
No1: approx. 875m (960yds)
Yarn used in pattern = 5x 50gr Pernilla by Filcolana, col. 819
No2: approx. 1700m (1850yds)
Yarn used in pattern = 24 x 20gr Merino Singles Mini by Freckles&Speckles

  • 3,5mm circular needles (US 4) or size needed to obtain gauge
  • 4 stitch markers
  • wool needle

GAUGE:
10cm x 10cm (4” x 4”) = 22 sts x 42 rows in garter stitch (after blocking)
