Sand Dollar
This pattern is
available for free.
Follow this FREE crochet earring pattern and make a pair of Sand Dollar earrings, perfect for hitting the beach this summer!
Includes detailed photo tutorial and printable pattern.
Materials
- Yarn – I like to use Curio #10 yarn from KnitPicks. You’ll want about 10 yards of yarn for one pair of earrings.
- Fabric Stiffener – To strengthen the earrings, I use Aleene’s Fabric Stiffener.
- Earring hardware – You will need a pair of earring hooks and some jump rings to add the hooks to the earrings. You can use whatever style of hook you like, I usually go for French hooks in whatever color matches my earrings.
Tools
- Tiny Crochet Hook – I used a size 0.75mm crochet hook. Adjust hook size for bigger or smaller earrings.
- Tapestry needle – for weaving in ends.
- A pair of small pliers and a jump ring opener – to open and close the jump rings.
