Sand Island
Sand Island was inspired by the memory of walking on the sand beach when I was kin to the sea.
I recollected the feeling of wet, soft sand touching my feet, and then there was a pattern Sand island!
Due to the texture, the fabric does not wrinkle as much.
Using soft yarn, it is nice to wear on bare skin, but you can easily layer other sleeveless under the piece.
Have fun playing with it!
CONSTRUCTION
It is a chart-based pattern that includes schematics and detailed instructions. Front and back pieces are knitted flat, bottom up, and sewn together to complete.
Overall construction is easy, but there might be some intricate techniques for complete beginners to try(such as pick up and knit along the edge of the fabric and side seaming etc).
If you are planning to print this pattern, please use the highest quality setting of your printer. There are a lot of words, charts, and schematics…^_^
