I’ve found out this stitch in one of my books while searching for inspiration and I’ve immediately loved it because it’s pretty easy (it’s just a combination of knit and right twist) and at the same time it creates a beautiful wavy texture that reminds me of deserts sand waves. For this beanie in particular I used Zarina yarn by Filatura di Crosa but you can choose any type of yarn (better if it is plain color so the texture will stand out) and adapt it to different sizes as the stitch is a multiple of 3.

Cercando ispirazione in uno dei miei libri, ho trovato questo punto fantasia chiamato “punto virgolette” e mi è subito piaciuto molto perché è piuttosto semplice (una combinazione di diritto e maglia inclinata) e allo stesso tempo crea un bell’effetto mosso che mi ha subito ricordato le onde di sabbia.
Per questo berretto in particolare ho usato il filato Zarina di Filatura di Crosa ma potete scegliere qualsiasi filato (meglio se a tinta unita così la texture risalterà) e adattarlo alle diverse taglie considerando che il punto è un multiplo di 3.
