Wear with shorts, a crop top and sandals for a cute summer look, or keep it simple in cooler weather with a fun t-shirt and comfy jeans. With faux raglan mesh sleeves, post stitch and eyelet detailing for some texture, and an optional fringe trim on the bottom hem, this cardigan packs a punch with visual interest, while still being understated enough to be an everyday garment!

This pattern includes instructions for two different sizes: XS-L, and XL-4XL - however, this pattern is incredibly easy to modify and customize to your own measurements!

Sandbanks is worked up in two halves. Each is worked first in joined rounds as a hexagon, then folded in half so the corners are touching. The mesh side is seamed to create the sleeve, then extra width is added in turned rows to the cardigan. A second identical panel is created and the two are seamed together up the centre back. Extra length is added to the cardigan once seamed. Lastly, fringe is optionally added to the bottom edge.
