Sanders Mittens
Sanders Mittens are a pair of cozy and classic colorwork mittens that will help put a smile on even the grumpiest face. This pattern uses 3 different charts for the main body of the mittens, with no more than 2 colors used per row and no colorwork done on thumbs or top decreases, making this a great pattern for newbies to fair isle knitting. The pattern includes two sizes for adults in two different suggested yarns to help ensure a perfect fit, because we all know there’s nothing worse than cold hands on a winter day.
Pattern uses a color chart for color placement, with written instructions for the rest of the pattern. Pattern has been fully tested before release. Colorwork is inspired by upcycled wool mittens made by Jen Ellis as seen worn by Bernie Sanders on January 20, 2021. Charts are my own creation.
