Sandpipers are nice, aren’t they? Every time I watch them they put a smile in my face . So I designed this sock pattern.

YARN: Fingering weight/4ply sockyarn, 210m/50g
The sample is knitted with Filcolana Arwetta, 50g/210m, 679 north atlantic (melange) and 812 granite (melange)
679 north atlantic (melange): about 60 g (size 5,5)
812 granite (melange): about 15g (size 5,5)

NEEDLES: dpn’s 2- 2,5mm
SIZES: one size (about an average womens 5,5 size (german 38/39))
Note: This pattern has only one size. The «problem» is, that the background pattern has a rapport of 6 stitches, but the wave pattern a rapport of 11 stitches. The pattern contains additional charts of 77 stitches, so that you can easily adapt it to another size.
